I am 55 and suffered for many years with back and nerve pain. Eventually after an MRI my diagnosis was confirmed as spinal stenosis and I was referred to new hall hospital as a NHS patient. I was seen quickly, at the time not knowing it was a private hospital. Throughout my experience has been 100%positive and never once felt I was treated any less as a NHS patient. My spinal surgery was done by Mr Matthew Stenning who made me feel confident in his care. My surgery went exceptionally well, 12 weeks later I would say even better than I had dared hope. Follow up with the hospital and Mr Stenning has been efficient including a date for my annual check up this. December. I rate New Hall and all the staff very highly. Mr Stenning is clearly a skilled surgeon and I feel lucky to have passed through his hands. Thank you.

After a long wait all of my own doing,i had my operation under the care of Mr Davis on 17th February 2025.Iam a person who will tell how it is good or bad. Everyone there from dinner man to Mr Davis treated me with respect and this countiued right up until i left. So thank you must go to the ladies who deal with Mr Davis list,you all had the hard task to re book all the oprations due to a massive lightning strike had shut it all down,I admit i was one of those people phoneing to see if a new date for me was ready,when the lady explained to me she had 7 consultants who were to operate that day but the lightning had done its worse,i am a bit angry with myself that i had not thought of the others who like me were sent home. You were all amazingand i can,t thank you enough. my new date was the 17th,and i cannot fault anyone or anything what a bunch of amazing people.So Thank you. And so you know i was a N.H.S patient but did.t once feel like it. I do have one gripe get bigger tea cups lol.And the food especially the poriage was lovely.So if your looking at new hall as a place for your surgery what are you waiting for. Julie Nash,
