Convalescent Care

The Oaks Hospital can provide comprehensive, fully inclusive post-operative basic nursing convalescence care packages. Our convalescent care package enables you to rest with the peace of mind that you are in a safe and competent environment, with the privacy needed to enhance your recovery and healing process. All of our bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms to ensure complete privacy as well as a direct dial telephone, free wireless internet, Sky TV and radio available in each room. 

All catering services are in-house and we provide varied and nutritious menus. Special dietary requirements can easily be catered for and special arrangements may be made for guests to eat with you in your room at a further cost. 

Senior Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day and a Resident Medical Officer is also available on site to provide medical care and support. Where appropriate we can arrange for other services such as physiotherapy or chiropody to be carried out on a private basis at additional costs. 

Please note convalescent care at the Oaks Hospital is subject to referral and consultant acceptance. You will also need to have an assessment carried out by one of the nursing/physiotherapy team, to establish if you are suitable for this package and must have a real prospect of being discharged to continuing care or your own accommodation within two weeks.
