There are several advantages to day case surgery as opposed to a prolonged hospital stay; such as reduced risk of infection and blood clots, less pain, and the rehab and recovery is both quicker and simpler. Previous patients reported appreciating having more autonomy in there recovery as well as being back in their own bed.
