Stourside Hospital

Stourside hospital is an extension of services being delivered by sister hospital, West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. Located just 100 metres from the Lion Health surgery, Stourside is a single storey development of modern design.

The hospital provides access to high quality, patient centred healthcare services for private, insured and NHS patients within the local community and further afield.

Services for patients include:

• Operating theatre with 2 recovery bays
• Ambulatory Unit with 6 pods, gender specific areas
• A C-Arm X-Ray for guided procedures
• 7 OPD Consulting Rooms and 2 Physiotherapy Rooms
• 1 Treatment Room
• MRI and CT Scanner (available at our sister hospital, West Midlands Hospital)
• Patient waiting area and administrative office space
• Car parking area with 73 spaces

Quality Report

This Quality Account is Stourside Hospital’s annual report to the public and other stakeholders about the quality of the services we provide. It presents our achievements in terms of clinical excellence, effectiveness, safety and patient experience and demonstrates that our managers, clinicians and staff are all committed to providing continuous, evidence based, quality care to those people we treat. It will also show that we regularly scrutinise every service we provide with a view to improving it and ensuring that our patient’s treatment outcomes are the best they can be.
