I am delighted to be the Hospital Director of both West Midlands and Stourside Hospitals and I am privileged to be working with an exceptional team across both hospitals.

Following a career in military healthcare as a Registered Nurse and healthcare management spanning 30 years, I joined Ramsay Health in 2000 appointed to positions as head of clinical services and as a Hospital Director for another Ramsay service before being appointed as Hospital Director for the West Midlands and Stourside Hospitals in Sept 2024.

I am passionate about developing and leading high quality health care provision, with our patients and service users at the heart of what we do. Situated in the Black Country, our two hospitals provide a vital service to our local population through the provision of surgical and diagnostic care pathways. We offer private health care for people able to access private medical insurance or self-funded options and we are a key partner with the NHS locally.

The Ramsay ethos captures who we are and we are proud to be “People Caring for People”. We frequently receive heart-warming patient feedback from those who use our services and we encourage receiving feedback about our care. We use this to celebrate when we do well and to learn when there are areas that we can improve upon.
