What our patients say

  • Just wanted to say after a nervous visit to Winfield yesterday for Hernia operation how well I was treated and put at ease. From initial consultation with Mr Scott followed by pre-operation assessment to arrival yesterday with a friendly, welcoming and professional reception staff to the nurses and support staff they were all totally and truly amazing. The room was modern and clean, the staff couldn't have done more so a massive thank you to all involved. Highly recommend to anyone.

  • Would like you to pass on my thanks to the teams at the Winfield. Reception, Ward staff, Surgical team, Catering staff, Porter, X-ray, Kitchen/chef, Consultant, Anaesthetist, Physio. The care I received on arrival to discharge has been excellent. Wonderful staff. The room was lovely and comfortable. The nurses gave great care. Great catering team with some wonderful meals from the kitchen. You’ve got a great chef. Now recouping at home having managed to leave lunch time the following day from surgery. Getting around ok and pain is not as bad as I thought it might be. So glad I chose the Winfield. Mr Kalap is a great consultant.

  • "Absolutely fantastic hospital. 100% clean, friendly, polite. Staff are truly amazing, they made you feel safe and less nervous and calm. They are the most friendliest Doctors and Nurses I have come across and I have seen a lot over the years with my late husband’s health. 100%all the way."
