  • Review of My Stay at Woodthorpe Hospital My experience at Woodthorpe Hospital was outstanding from start to finish. From my initial assessment to discharge, the level of care I received was exceptional. Sikod Raymond and the entire team were highly professional, respectful, and attentive to my needs. Any request I made was addressed promptly, often within minutes, demonstrating their dedication and compassion. The physiotherapist was incredibly patient, kind, and caring, ensuring I fully understood each exercise. Their support made a significant difference in my recovery. The hospital itself felt like a five-star hotel in terms of cleanliness and the quality of the food. I highly recommend Woodthorpe Hospital to anyone seeking excellent care.

  • All 5 stars plus a thousand more, Staff are amazing and so helpful and professionals . My room was so comfortable and after my operation I was given as much time as I needed to rest with a lovely coffe and fresh sandwiches. My surgery was on time Thank you very much Doctor Bogdan Ivanov si senior nurse Farah Khan Thank you to all the staff I will never forget all your kindness

  • I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the NHS for their exceptional care and support throughout my procedure. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and kindness, and I was promptly taken to my room at the time we had agreed upon. I immediately felt at ease after speaking with the wonderful nurse, Heather Smith, in the Day Surgery Unit, who reassured me and answered all my questions. The anaesthetist also took the time to thoroughly explain the sedation procedure, making me feel confident and comfortable going into the procedure. The Radio Frequency (RF) treatment with the incredible Dr. Mushtaq and his amazing team went smoothly, and I was able to remain calm with stable blood pressure and low anxiety throughout. Post-procedure, I was treated to a delicious meal—a 9.8-rated tuna mayo sandwich on brown bread, accompanied by coffee and orange juice, which I deeply appreciated after fasting pre-op.

  • I have just returned home from Woodlands hospital after my second total hip replacement under the care of Dr Massraf. I would like to thank him and the anaesthetist who carried out my procedure on both occasions for the care and skill they exercise in their work, it was amazing. I would also like to thank all of the nurses and ancillary staff (sorry too many names to mention) for their professionalism, kindness and helpfulness they are amazing people and made my stay very comfortable, nothing was ever too much trouble. I would also like to thank John the Pharmacist who took great care to ensure I understood what my going home medication was, how and when to take it. I may need knee surgery at some point in the future, if so my first choice would be Woodlands Hospital.

  • It seems the Oaks Hospital has lately gone downhill a bit. Many of its doctors are only working there on a part time basis, e.g. main day job is with the NHS, e.g. in an NHS Hospital, and then they earn some extra cash privately in the evening, when they are already tired from the day job. Also, the payment systems used by the Oaks Hospital are a bit chaotic. One doctor who we consulted in the evening always brought his own card reader, probably didn't trust other payment services used by the Oaks Hospital. The MRI Scan department only accepted bank transfers, no acceptance of card payments. And some services in the Oaks Hospital use the hythehopes.com payment service, but that one doesn't accept American Express, nor does it work for foreign Mastercard. Also, we asked for copies of an MRI Scan results several weeks ago, but haven't yet received any.

  • I could not fault Rowley Hall Hospital. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they never made you feel like you were a burden to them.

  • I had my knee replacement carried out in august 2024. From the initial appointment with my consultant to the after care I couldnt fault the Oaks. The staff were just wondful and didn't make me feel silly when I was in pain and had a little tear. I cannot thank them all enough for no 1 service throughout the process
