    Ramsay UK has taken significant steps to transition to renewable energy. It has entered into a long-term renewable energy contract to provide 100% renewable electricity to all of its sites across the UK.

    Energy-Efficient Upgrades

    As part of its ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption, Ramsay UK has invested in energy-efficient upgrades to its facilities. This includes installing energy-efficient lighting and heating systems, as well as implementing comprehensive building management system to monitor and control energy use.

    Waste Management

    Ramsay UK is also focused on reducing waste and improving its waste management processes. The organisation has implemented a recycling programme across all its sites and is committed to reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill. 

    Ramsay UK has also introduced a waste segregation initiative, ensuring that different types of waste are separated at the point of disposal, which improves recycling rates and reduces environmental impact.

    Sustainable Procurement

    In addition to reducing energy consumption and waste, Ramsay UK is committed to sustainable procurement practices. The organisation is working with its suppliers to ensure that they also adopt environmentally friendly practices and that the products and services procured are as sustainable as possible.

    This includes sourcing products that are made from recycled materials, are energy-efficient, and have minimal environmental impact throughout their lifecycle.
