Exeter Medical Vasectomy Service Survey

Exeter Medical surveyed patients on the day of their vasectomy procedure in order to assess the quality of the service being provided and opportunities for learning to improve the service offered.

Key highlights from the data

  • 98% of people didn't experience any problems booking the vasectomy appointment
  • 89% of people said that the information leaflet sent out prior to the appointment was helpful to prepare for the operation
  • 86% of people found the consultation with the doctor / nurse prior to the operation fairly useful
  • 81% of people felt completely at ease during the surgery, 18% of people felt very comfortable
  • 93% of people rated the theatre, premises and facilities excellent
  • 97% of people rated the overall experience of the service very good
