50th Robotic Knee Replacement Patient at Woodland Hospital

Six months ago, we launched ROSA Robotic Assisted Knee Replacement Surgery at Woodland Hospital. On the 1st May 2024 we have achieved a huge milestone by reaching 50 patients’ cases. We were joined by the Zimmer team who have supported the pathway with training and guidance.

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mr Divyang Shukla, Consultant Anaesthetist, Dr Ajay Swami, and our theatre team are all within the first Ramsay Hospital to be completing Robotic Surgery independently without the assistance of Zimmer reps.
