Fitzwilliam Physiotherapist Ashley Watson has been selected for Team GB 2023 World Bench Press Championships.

Fitzwilliam’s Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon, Mr Rupert Clifton, and Radiographer, Kath Berrisford, are set to run the London Marathon on 23rd April in support of the Bone Cancer Research Trust.

Recent analysis suggests more than 21 million UK adults will be obese by 2040 which is around 36% of the adult population. Most worryingly, if this rapid upward trend continues, the number of people who are obese could overtake the number who are a healthy weight in the UK by 2040¹.

Fitzwilliam’s Senior Physiotherapy Technician, Lauren Murrell has embarked on her Physiotherapy Degree Apprenticeship at Coventry University this month. Lauren says: “I chose to do the apprenticeship as I want to further my career progression and become a qualified Physiotherapist. I have achieved everything I can in my current role and I want a new challenge.”

After three years of hard work, balancing university, work, and home life, Fitzwilliam’s Outpatient Nurse Deanna Walton graduates from the Registered Nurse Degree Apprenticeship (RNDA) at Buckinghamshire New University.
