Hernia Repair Inguinal Male

Hernia Repair Inguinal Male at Glendon Wood Hospital

Inguinal hernia repair is open surgery to return an inguinal hernia back to its origins and, to repair and strengthen a weakened abdominal wall often using a mesh.

An inguinal hernia happens when fatty tissue or a part of your bowel pokes through a weak spot in the surrounding muscle wall and allows a bulge to form in your groin at the top of your inner thigh. This hernia pushes into an area called the inguinal canal.

Inguinal hernia repairs are routine procedures at Ramsay Health Care. We can offer rapid and convenient treatment as required for the surgical repair of your inguinal hernia.

Our expert surgeons are available at a Ramsay Hospital near you to offer clear advice and perform your open inguinal hernia repair or laparoscopic inguinal repair.
