Clare qualified from Kings College London, and after working at two London teaching hospitals, has worked at various hospitals in England, Northern Ireland and Germany. In 2003, she returned to her home town of Colchester and worked as an Extended Scope Physiotherapy Specialist in Maldon, with the role of Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist Physiotherapist. Clare joined Oaks Hospital in 2012 as Head of Physiotherapy. Charlie qualified with a First Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy in 2006 from the University of East London, and began her career at Oaks Hospital building her knowledge and skills in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal physiotherapy over the years. She has extended her knowledge of through attendance of accredited courses becoming a Clinical Specialist in Upper Limb in 2012, and has a particular interest in the management of frozen shoulders, sub-acromial impingement syndrome, dupuytrens disease, and rehabilitation of the hand and wrist. Caroline studied Physiotherapy at the University of Southampton and graduated in 2003. Initially she worked at Kings College Hospital, rotating through various specialist areas such as neuro medicine, neurosurgery, lower limb amputees, musculoskeletal outpatients, elderly stroke rehabilitation and the Liver Unit. Caroline started working at Oaks Hospital as a Senior Outpatient Physiotherapist in 2005. She treats spinal and musculoskeletal conditions and uses a wide variety of treatment techniques: joint and spinal mobilisations, massage/trigger point release, exercise prescription, taping, ultrasound/electrotherapy, and gym work. Kasha qualified in 2006 in Poland. She worked initially in the NHS at Colchester General Hospital, getting experience in treatment of musculoskeletal conditions in a gym, hydrotherapy pool and orthopaedic ward. She joined Oaks Hospital in 2012 as a senior physiotherapist in outpatients. Samantha qualified as a physiotherapist from the University of Essex in 2009. Following completion of two years of junior rotations at Ipswich Hospital, she travelled and worked in New Zealand for a year. Since then she has worked in both the private sector and the NHS, specialising in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries including working as a pitchside physiotherapist at Colchester Rugby Club. She practises a broad base of treatment options including manual therapy, taping, and exercise rehabilitation.
