The Westbourne Centre

The Westbourne Centre brings together a diverse group of clinical specialists that provide the highest quality procedures, treatments and patient experience for private, insured and NHS patients.

All procedures are carried out under local anaesthetic, with or without sedation, reducing the risks for patients and ensuring a quicker recovery.

Our Heritage

The Westbourne Centre was launched in January 2009 by four well-established surgeons who wanted to provide a safe and pleasant environment for their patients, and have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring about new methods for treatments.

The surgeons Mr Fazel Fatah, Mr Hiroshi Nishikawa, Mr Stephen Dover, Mr Anthony Summerwill and Mr Martin Evans created a joint venture with the global hospital company, Ramsay Healthcare Group. The addition of Ramsay Healthcare to The Westbourne Centre ensured hospital operations support and access to the most advanced clinical technologies.

This Quality Account is Westbourne Centre's annual report to the public and other stakeholders about the quality of the services we provide. It presents our achievements in terms of clinical excellence, effectiveness, safety and patient experience and demonstrates that our managers, clinicians and staff are all committed to providing continuous, evidence based, quality care to those people we treat. It will also show that we regularly scrutinise every service we provide with a view to improving it and ensuring that our patient’s treatment outcomes are the best they can be. It will give a balanced view of what we are good at and what we need to improve on.
