From A40 - At roundabout turn onto A38 Tewkesbury Road towards Gloucester. Take 2nd turn on right into Winfield Hospital.
Hospital Facilities
- The hospital currently has 39 beds including thirty four single rooms all with en-suite facilities, direct dial telephone, flat screen Freeview TV and radio are available in all rooms for you and your visitor's comfort.
- There are three fully equipped theatres, with ultra clean air technology, which are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal procedures.
- The refurbished recovery area has doubled in size and benefits from the latest technology.
- A new dedicated endoscopy suite.
- Meals are served in your room and comprise of a superb selection of dishes, all freshly prepared by our on-site catering team.
- Free car parking and disabled access is also available.
- Full diagnostic facilities include x-ray, ultrasound and dental x-ray equipment. MRI and CT scanning services are supplied by Ramsay UK Diagnostic mobile units.
- The Hospital also has a well equipped outpatient department with 11 consulting suites.
- On site physiotherapy department staffed by chartered physiotherapists. It has a fully equipped gymnasium and access to an Alter G anti-gravity treadmill.

Visiting Hours
We request that the following hours be observed: 9.00am to 9.00pm for self paying patients and 3.00pm to 8.00pm for NHS patients.
We do ask that you be considerate to others in the hospital. Lots of noise and many people can be very distressing to some patients. Please respect their need for rest and privacy. Children are very welcome but they must be supervised by an adult at all times.
