Clifton Park Hospital Ltd. is a joint venture between Ramsay Health Care UK and North Yorkshire Orthopaedic Specialists (NYOS), a team of specialist orthopaedic surgeons dedicated to delivering exceptional care. About Our Clinical Fellowship Programme

Clifton Park Hospital’s Senior Clinical Fellowship Programme offers an unparalleled opportunity for healthcare professionals to advance their careers in orthopaedics. Designed to provide extensive clinical and operative experience, each fellow works closely with our senior Consultant Knee and/or Hip surgeons, participating in all aspects of their practice. To date, the fellowship has provided valuable experience, enabling candidates to be admitted to the Specialist Register.

 

Join Our Fellowship Programme

To be considered, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Current registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
  • Experience working in the UK at specialist registrar or equivalent level
  • Completed or working towards the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in Trauma & Orthopaedics (Tr and Orth)
  • A strong commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development

 

Our fellowship is designed to provide extensive hands-on experience and advanced training for individuals aiming to secure a consultant post. Successful applicants will have completed six years of postgraduate training, with at least five years spent in a relevant speciality training programme or equivalent professional experience. Furthermore, three years of substantive experience above ST3 level in Trauma & Orthopaedics is essential. This programme offers the opportunity to work alongside leading specialists, gain invaluable surgical experience, and further your professional journey in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment.
