We were thrilled to support a group of students and staff from Vale of York Academy on their recent expedition to Morocco! The students had an incredible opportunity to experience a new culture and contribute to a vital community project.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the local community, Clifton Park Hospital was pleased to donate to the school trip fund. We also invited the students to visit the hospital, where we enjoyed hearing about their exciting plans for the trip.
Mr. Rampling, Head of Sport and Enrichment at Vale of York Academy, reflected on the trip:
"The whole trip was amazing! The pupils were fantastic and a real credit to the school. They worked hard during their 3 days at the olive oil company, even in 45-degree heat, and pushed through challenging weather on the Mount Toubkal trek. The final sections were more relaxing with camel riding, beach visits, and shopping in Marrakech, which the pupils loved. They embraced every activity and made the most of this unforgettable experience."
We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in this life-changing expedition, and we look forward to hearing more about their journey!
