Chris Curtis the newly elected MP for Milton Keynes North – has visited Ramsay Health Care UK’s Blakelands Hospital less than a month into the job to see how the hospital is delivering high quality healthcare for local patients.
Blakelands Hospital is a purpose-built day care unit that provides high quality treatment in Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Urology, Ophthalmology and General Surgery, including an imaging department with X-Ray, Ultrasound and access to CT and MRI. It houses a dedicated physiotherapy unit, alongside 6 Outpatients rooms and 2 operating Theatres.
During the visit Chris toured the facilities and learnt more about the services on offer. The new local MP also met members of the team including Hospital Director, Boris Wagner; Clinical Lead, Gemma Horwood and Operations Manager, Matt Walton.
Blakelands Hospital works in close partnership local NHS Trusts, including Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Northampton NHS Trust as part of the whole health community to provide additional capacity to the NHS, and ensure patients can get the care they need, when they need it.
