Ramsay Health Care’s Radiology Teams Recognise World Radiography Day

World Radiography Day, established to commemorate Wilhelm Roentgen's discovery of x-rays in 1895, is celebrated annually to raise awareness about the vital role of medical imaging in diagnosing and treating diseases. This year's theme, “Radiographers: Seeing the Unseen”, emphasises the essential contributions of radiographers in healthcare, as they utilise imaging technology to detect and diagnose conditions that are not visible to the naked eye. Radiography professionals around the globe use this day to promote radiography as a career and to enhance public understanding of diagnostic imaging and radiation therapy.
