Omar Khan, Weight Loss Surgeon, has been awarded a Professorship in recognition of his clinical and academic work in weight loss surgery. Mr Khan was invited as a member of a UK delegation to visit a number of hospital and universities in China as part of a programme to foster links between UK and Chinese hospitals and universities. Mr Khan delivered an inaugural lecture on bariatric surgery at Hebei University and was invited to tour the facilities at Changzhou People Hospital where he was awarded a visiting professorship in recognition of his internationally renowned research on weight loss surgery.
