Fulwood Hall Hospital’s physiotherapy team is trained in the provision of exercises to promote pelvic floor strength and urinary control for both women and men using urodynamic studies, biofeedback and electrotherapy as appropriate and can receive referrals directly or via the management of a gynaecologist or urologist.
Treatments are provided for the following types of incontinence either by a physiotherapist or under the management of a specialist consultant surgeon.
