I can't praise woodthorpe Hospital and its staff enough. I had a full knee replacement just over 2 weeks ago. All the staff I saw from the very beginning going in to coming out were fantastic so friendly reassuring and supportive. The hospital is well run clean and modern the food was tasty.and well propeared and there was plenty of choice. I'm how under the physio department and can't fault them either very friendly and helpful..Over all from the Consultant nurses, reception physiotherapy and everybody in between.I cannot stress how pleasant the whole experience has been as much as a new replacement knee can be. Thank you all so much .

I was referred by the NHS for an endoscopy. I've never had the procedure done before and was quite nervous. The staff couldn't be more caring. They put me at ease throughout the procedure

Cataract surgery, 6 February successfully completed. Very pleased with result. All staff from reception to operational were pleasant, friendly and professional. Can only say I am very happy with my experience and would happily recommend it following my experience.

I was referred to woodthorpe for total knee replacement, I was so scared But there was no need to have been . From pre op to admissions the service was brilliant, staff are so caring Hca nurses, anesthetist, surgeon, physio and catering can not praise them enough. Not just with patients the staff got on well with each other ,one big happy family. Highly recommend THANK YOU X

Went for an appointment with a consultant here, which lasted approx 4 mins where he confirmed my details and then told me he would be requesting a different scan to the one I have already had for the problem I was having. Surely, this conversation could have been done on the phone? - really poor use of resources and inefficient.

The physiotherapy treatment I received following my hip resurfacing has been nothing short of exemplary. Dimple has been thoroughly professional, encouraging and so knowledgeable. She has explained the whys and wheres of what we are doing each appointment, what is happening during my recovery phase and how I can continue to progress. My sincere thanks for all your support and dedication to me as your patient.

I recently had a minor foot operation at Woodthorpe hospital as a day patient. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, I was kept informed of everything that was happening throughout my stay. The facilities in my room were fantastic, very clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Food and drink were offered after my operation and were to a good standard. The aftercare was excellent, it was all very sufficient but I did not feel rushed to leave.

Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings. I was in as a day patient for a minor op under general anaesthetic. As the last patient on the list , I was in after the crossover to the (reduced) night staff. This delayed my release by some time (perhaps an hour). Overall, a good experience and would be happy to attend again.
