Its been just over a week since my bilateral repair of an inguinal hernia. So far so good. My experience throughout the process of the initial consultation with Mr Beckingham to organising a surgery date with Jodie and Maisie and then the subsequent pre-op appointments to the day of surgery has been nothing short of brilliant. Professional whilst being polite, welcoming and thoroughly put at ease by everybody concerned. Its still early days in my recovery period but Im able to walk comfortably and do most day to day activities whilst not overdoing things. I would like to finish by saying I was very impressed with Mr Beckingham right from the outset and knew I was in safe hands and wasn't let down

My experience of Woodthorpe Hospital is very positive. I was treated with the greatest respect and care from reception to discharge. I only stayed for one night and my every need was met including nursing care, pain management, food and drink and assistance with personal care. My private room was well appointed. All the staff were friendly and helpful, everything was explained very well and I was able to ask any questions I needed to. I felt confident about every aspect of my cosmetic procedure, with both the anesthetist and surgeon being very reassuring about what I was to undergo. The healing process is ongoing with follow-up appointments to attend, but initial results are very pleasing. Overall I believe that this was money well spent and I have no hesitation in recommending the Woodthorpe Hospital.

Dr Ghosh was fantastic at listening to my symptoms and really thorough with all explanations. I needed my coil removing as it had perforated my uterus and some treatment for endometriosis. Despite being nervous about the operation, Dr Ghosh was really patient and informed of all the steps and reassuring and the operation went well and the aftercare was fantastic.

Phone calls can be frustrating as they often require a wait to speak to reception. Services offered are good. Surgery performed successfully and overnight stay was comfortable.

I would like to say this hospital is first class, staff are so helpful and professional, the room was clean and everything in working order, my op (knee) was quick and I had no worries as they talked me through everything and answered all my question.. they check on me by a phone call at home next day. I would highly recommend this hospital.
