Dr Anna Parisiadou’s practice covers the whole spectrum of adult cardiology including chest pain, breathlessness, heart failure, high blood pressure, murmurs, blackouts and palpitations. She has a special interest in cardiac imaging and is accredited in transthoracic echocardiography; she has a particular interest and expertise in advanced echocardiography including Dobutamine stress echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), and 3-D echocardiography. She is also accredited in CT scanning of the Coronary Arteries to assess patients with chest discomfort or to evaluate patients’ cardiac risk.

Dr Parisiadou gained her primary medical qualification, MUDr, from Comenius University in Bratislava in 1998 and completed her post graduate training in Cardiology in AHEPA, University Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece in 2012. She has held full registration with the GMC with a licence to practice since 2011 and on the Cardiology specialist register since March 2013.
Dr Parisiadou gained further specialist training at the Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, Basildon from 2013 – 2017 prior to taking up a substantive appointment as Consultant Cardiologist at Colchester Hospital in September 2017
