I provide a wide spectrum of General Cardiology advice which includes palpitations, chest pain, breathlessness, dizzy spells and blackouts, implantation of pacemakers and loop recorders. I provide the steer for atrial fibrillation management for the Royal Berkshire Hospital and West Berkshire GP's and have provided local guidelines.

My special interest includes high blood pressure management and have performed catheter-based renal denervation at Royal Berkshire Hospital. I have an interest in assessing cardiovascular risk, heart age and look at heart disease prevention strategies.

Interventional Cardiology
I was trained in dedicated Interventional Cardiology programmes at St Marys Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial Healthcare, London where I was appointed as the Senior Interventional Fellow. Having been selected for the prestigious Interventional Fellowship at the Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse, France, I spent 1 year under the expert tutelage of the internationally renowned cardiologist, Dr Jean Fajadet. I am skilled in simple and complex angioplasty and stenting through both the radial and femoral routes. I routinely use intravascular imaging (IVUS/OCT) and phsyiology (FFR/iFR) to direct management and optimise outcomes. Additionally, I have expertise in the use of Rotablation and Shock-wave for difficult-to-open, calcific arteries. I am accreditated in CT Coronary Angiography and use this to assess plan the interventional procedure.

My practice is very much patient-focused. As such, I spend time listening to your concerns and together we develop an agreed and tailor-made management plan.
