Mr Gerald Clesham is a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in interventional cardiology including angiograms, stenting procedures, chest pain, heart failure, arrhythmias, valve disease and cardiovascular risk assessment at Springfield Hospital, Essex.
Dr Clesham is a consultant cardiologist with a special interest in invasive and interventional cardiology. This includes diagnostic angiograms and coronary stenting procedures.

His registrar training in cardiology was initially at the Hammersmith Hospital in London and subsequently at Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. In between these two posts he was awarded a Medical Research Council Training Fellowship for research into molecular aspects of cardiovascular disease. This period of research resulted in a PhD degree being awarded from Cambridge University.
