Dr Hafiz Algurafi is a Consultant Oncologist at Springfield Hospital in Chelmsford with a specialist interest in Breast Cancer.

Dr Algurafi has been a consultant clinical oncologist for eight years. He trained in both chemotherapy and radiotherapy at the Royal Marsden, Charing Cross and Hammersmith and Guys and St Thomas Hospitals. His area of interest and expertise is treatment of breast, gynaecological and skin cancers.
Dr Algurafi is a Breast and Gynaecology Research Lead and is totally dedicated to providing the most up to date treatments in both Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy. He specialises in the Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy treatment of breast, gynaecological and skin cancers. He assess and treats in both his NHS and private practice approximately 60 patients per week and has treated approximately 1,500 breast cancer patients, 500 gynaecological and 400 skin cancer patients over the last five years.
Dr Algurafi works at Broomfield Hospital in Chelmsford and Southend University Hospital. He is the Southend University Hospital Breast and Gynaecological research lead and has been the Principle Investigator in over 25 trials. He is also Chair of the Chemotherapy Mortality group.
His interests outside of his work include travel, sport and cinema. He is married with two young children.
