Dr Kendall qualified from Cardiff University in 2008, where she also gained a BSc 1st class hons, in Psychology in Medicine as an intercalated degree. She spent her first 4 years as a doctor specialising in General Medicine and worked at the The Bristol Royal Infirmary where she gained her Membership of the Royal College of Physicians post-graduate qualification. Following this, she spent a year working in Palliative care in New Zealand. When she returned, she re-trained as a General Practitioner and has been working in the area since 2018 working for the NHS and more recently, in the private sector.
