Dr Mohgah Elsheikh is a Consultant in Diabetes, Obesity and Endocrinology. She completed her specialist training at Kings College Hospital in London and the Oxford Centre for Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. She was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 2003.
Dr Elsheikh has over 15 years experience in weight management and obesity medicine. She is SCOPE certified by the World Obesity Federation and is a European Association for the Study of Obesity (EASO) National Clinical Fellow. She currently leads the Diabetes Integration and the Specialist Obesity Services in Gloucestershire. Prior to that she was the Medical Lead of the weight management service at Imperial College London Diabetes Centre, Abu Dhabi and led the team to become an EASO accredited Collaborating Centre for Obesity.
Dr Elsheikh is passionate about education and was the co-founder of the Reading University Certificate of Obesity Management and the UAE Obesity Conference. She has authored several papers and book chapters and is a regular speaker at regional and national meetings in the UK and the UAE.
Dr Elsheikh strives to provide a high quality individualised approach to care, aiming to help people living with obesity lose weight and gain health.
