Trevor did his undergraduate training in Scotland. He did his Cardiology training in Leicester and Nottingham where he was Lecturer in Cardiology and Senior Registrar at Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham. He was appointed Consultant Cardiologist in Truro in 1993 where he set up the invasive cardiology services for Cornwall, and was instrumental in setting up interventional cardiology in 2000 at RCHT and subsequently setup the primary angioplasty service for Cornwall to treat heart attacks. He retired from his NHS position as Senior Cardiologist at RCHT in July 2021 and now works soley in private practice.
Trevor, with his 30 years as a Consultant Cardiologist in Cornwall, has a wealth of experience of general cardiological problems. He has particular expertise in coronary angioplasty and stenting in the treatment of coronary artery disease and in the management of cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure and inherited cardiac conditions which includes implanting pacemakers, heart failure resynchronisation devices, and defibrillators.
