Academic Background

Dr Kandikattu qualified in 1998. After completion of his post graduate studies he worked in Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences. He trained as a Senior House Officer at Birmingham in 2003 and moved to the Imperial School of Anaesthesia in London and completed his certificate of completion of specialist training (CCT) in Anaesthetics.

He completed a Royal College recognised Pain Fellowship at Royal Marsden and Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where he gained extensive experience of chronic and cancer pain management and learned to use acupuncture for symptomatic control from Dr Filshie. He then held a Fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice at the World Institute of Pain and a Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia from the European Society of Regional Anaesthesia.
