Dr Shilpa is a highly experienced community gynaecologist, women’s health GP, and British Menopause Society accredited menopause specialist. She understands that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to women’s healthcare- and treatments are personalised and based on gold standard evidence. Dr McQuillan treats women of all ages with conditions such as menopause, perimenopause, bleeding disorders, pelvic pain, hormonal imbalance, vulval & vaginal conditions, and urinary symptoms. She also offers contraception, coils, implants, pessaries, breast checks, cervical screening, blood tests, and lifestyle & nutritional advice.
Dr Shilpa McQuillan is passionate about her profession, her patients, and providing the highest standard of care in all aspects of women’s health. She provides care to those who have struggled to find solutions elsewhere, and women with complex medical backgrounds including those with a history of cancer. Passionate about the NHS and all it stands for, Dr Shilpa continues to work as a women’s health GP and NHS community gynaecologist, alongside her work in the clinic.
Educating and empowering women of all ages with knowledge about their health is Dr Shilpa’s passion. She is the women’s health columnist for Henley Life magazine and the Henley Standard newspaper and regularly teaches in schools, having worked to incorporate menopause and gynaecology into the curriculum. And because community is at the heart of all she does, Dr Shilpa frequents as an expert speaker in workplaces and at medical seminars, as well as hosting menopause workshops for charities and organisations.
