Dr Mitra has been a consultant gastroenterologist since March 2014. His special interests include diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and EUS). He is experienced in managing patients with dysphagia, dyspepsia (indigestion), gastro-oesophageal reflux disease and chronic diarrhoea (including irritable bowel syndrome). He has a special interest in the management of pancreatico-biliary conditions (chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts, gallstones and common bile duct stones, sphincter of Oddi dysfunction).
