Dr Kulkarni qualified in 1993 from Christian Medical College, Vellore before carrying out his Basic Surgical Training in Derriford and Torbay Hospitals in Devon.
In 2003 Dr Kulkarni moved into General Practice whilst also pursuing a diploma in Sports Medicine at Bath University.
Dr Kulkarni gained his MRCGP in 2005 and his Sports Medicine post graduate diploma in 2008.
Dr Kulkarni currently works for Ministry of Defence as a specialist in Sport and Exercise Medicine, treating military personnel for injuries sustained in sport and on field exercise.
Dr Kulkarni has worked with professional sports team since 2008, such as Torquay United FC, Exeter City FC, Bath Rugby and also with the Armed Forces Rugby. Dr Kulkarni is also an instructor for pitch-side medical care with England Rugby.
