Anne has been a Physiotherapy Technician in the Physiotherapy Department at the Rivers Hospital for over 25 years, having previously worked in the NHS before this. During this time, Anne has completed her Level 3 Care Certificate and other qualifications to ensure she can offer the best level of care to her patients. Anne assists the inpatient physiotherapists on the wards to mobilise and rehabilitate the patients following surgery. Over the last 12 years, Anne has been heavily involved in the running of the aquatic therapy service for patients who have had spinal and hip surgery. Anne calls upon her skills of teaching and encouragement when leading the joint rehabilitation classes for patients recovering from hip and knee replacements. Anne prides herself on her ability to build relationships with patients and colleagues alike and plays a valuable role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Physiotherapy Department.
