Ms Charlie Buckerfield is a Physiotherapist at Woodland Hospital located in Northamptonshire
Charlie has a passion for service development and education, she enjoys sharing her knowledge to help others learn. “It’s great to see our students develop during their placements and it’s been wonderful seeing some of them return to the hospital as physiotherapists”.
I have a passion for health and fitness, I love dancing with my friends at the Jane Tyler School of Dancing where I participate in tap, stage and ballet classes. In any other spare time you might catch me running or walking my beautiful Shih-tzu Macie! I also enjoy exploring the world with my family, especially snowboarding, my favourite resort is Mayrhofen in Austria
Charlie graduated from the University of Leicester in 2016; her passion for learning continued and she decided to study for her Masters degree in Manual Therapy at Coventry University.
Charlie began her career in the NHS before transitioning into the private sector. At the Woodlands Charlie works in clinics, on the ward and manages the exercise classes for joint replacements. She has qualifications in acupuncture and mentoring and is always eager to develop further.
It’s very important for me to keep fit; I absolutely love dancing with my friends at the Jane Tyler School of Dancing and Beat Project Dance Company where I participate in tap, stage, ballet and street dance classes. In any other spare time you might catch me running or walking my beautiful Shih-tzu Macie! Most of all I enjoy travelling and exploring the world, especially snowboarding in the mountains, my favourite resort is Jackson Hole in Wyoming, USA.
