Lauren is a valued Physiotherapy Technician with over 5 years of experience spanning from orthopaedic post-surgery care, joint replacement rehabilitation, functional restoration rehab, Long Covid Service rehabilitation, and wound care and management.
During her time at Rivers, Lauren has assisted our senior therapists with the many group rehab services that the Physiotherapy department offers. These include aquatic therapy, joint classes, back to fitness, and she has more recently begun holding her own joint replacement rehab classes.
Lauren is a qualified Level 3 Senior Health Care Support Worker and has completed her Care Certificate programme. She has a special interest in wound care and now carries out orthopaedic post-surgical wound clinics within the department. She is also a member of the Rivers Hospital Wellbeing team.
Lauren has been accepted by the Ramsay Academy to begin her Nursing degree under the Ramsay apprenticeship scheme in January 2021.
