Miss Sasha Taylor is a Consultant Gynaecologist and BMS Menopause specialist, with interests in pelvic pain, endometriosis and vulval conditions in Essex

Menopause and postmenopausal disorders, Benign gynaecology including menstrual disorders, PCOS, fibroids, pelvic pain and endometriosis, ovarian cysts, Vulval & Vaginal conditions including Lichen sclerosis, atrophy, vulval lesions, Hysteroscopic surgery (Novasure endometrial ablation, Myosure, resectoscope), Laparoscopic & open surgery, Fetal Medicine & ultrasound.

Miss Taylor is a Consultant Gynaecologist and holds BMS Menopause certification and has extensive experience in this field. She is passionate about improving women’s health and has special interest in the perimenopause and menopause.  She has expert skills in management and treatment of women with complex needs such as treatment failure, problematic bleeding, complex medical problems, premature ovarian insufficiency, and premenstrual syndrome. 

Additionally, she has an interest in managing women with PCOS and practices a holistic approach advising on diet, lifestyle and exercise in addition to medical treatment options.  

She also has a special interest in pelvic pain and endometriosis; She is currently undertaking a master’s degree in endometriosis. She has extensive experience in performing Laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical procedures.

Miss Taylor completed specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East of England.  After passing membership examination of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (MRCOG) she obtained RCOG ATSM certificates in fetal medicine, advanced labour ward practice and medical education. 

She completed the British Menopause society advanced training certificate PPMC and gained recognition as a BMS specialist in 2023. In 2024 she completed the Australasian College of Dermatologists certificate of vulval dermatology.  Miss Taylor is undertaking a master’s degree in endometriosis.
