After completing his medical training in 2001, he undertook ENT training in London and Cambridge. Mr Trinidade went on to sub-specialise in otology (complex ear surgery) by completing two world-class otology fellowships at Cambridge and Little Rock, USA. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, a member of the ENT-UK and of the Prosper Meniere Society, a society dedicated to disorders of the inner ear. Mr Trinidade's training has given him clinical expertise in the rehabilitation of chronic ear disease such as tympanoplasty for perforated ear drums and more complex diseases. He is also trained in the surgical rehabilitation of hearing in people who are hard of hearing and have a specialist interest in the management of dizziness and balance disorders. He also offers expertise in general adult and paediatric ENT conditions. Mr Trinidade is on the board of directors for the Prosper Meniere Society. His role includes promoting the aim of this esteemed international society within the UK. He is currently the head of clinical governance and audit in his NHS practice at Southend Hospital. Mr Trinidade has published over 60 peer-reviewed academic papers and holds a diploma in medical education.
