Since his appointment as a consultant, Mr Masood has also been an active member of the research community, authoring and presenting publications in scientific journals at international conferences. He has a keen interest in training future generation of ENT surgeons and is the Educational Supervisor for ENT Specialty Trainee Registrars for East of England Deanery and Peterborough GP Trainee supervisor for ENT.
Academic Background
Mr Masood graduated in 1993, after which he went on to gain membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MRCS) in 2006, alongside the passing of his Diploma in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery (DO-HNS). He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS Otolaryngology) in 2010 and trained in the East of England region at Peterborough City Hospital, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cambridge University Hospital. Subsequently, Mr Masood lived in Australia for two years to complete Fellowship in ENT where he gained extensive experience in the treatment and management of various ear, nose and throat conditions.
