Mr Andrei Ilczyszyn is a Consultant General Surgeon in Gloucestershire who specialises in minimally invasive general surgery.
Andrei's clinical interests are focussed on minimally invasive (keyhole) surgery and include all aspects of metabolic/bariatric (weight loss) surgery.
Andrei also has a keen interest in surgery for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GORD) and offers anti-reflux and hiatus hernia surgery. He has recently introduced the LINX magnetic sphincter augmentation device for the first time in Gloucestershire, pioneering this novel approach with good results.
Andrei also has extensive experience with benign biliary and gallstone surgery and an interest in minimally invasive hernia surgery.
Complementary to his surgical techniques, Andrei has clinical interests in oesophageal physiology and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy.
