Mr Anil Gambhir is an established hip and knee surgeon having qualified from the University of Manchester in 1991 and trained in the North West. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is fellowship trained in revision Arthroplasty. His clinical practice is focused on hip and knee surgery and attracts referrals from both the local and regional community. Mr Gambhir has a particular experience in treating young patients with arthritis and treating patients who have had complications following surgery. Mr Gambhir performs approximately 300 primary hip and knee replacements per year and 50 revisions. He has been awarded numerous travelling fellowships to Europe, Asia and North America. He has a strong academic background and has published widely. He lectures and teaches regularly at a number of meetings.
