Anthony lectures in the field of dental implants nationally and internationally and is a member of the ITI education group. He is a fellow of the International Team for Oral Implantology and is also a board member of the International Academy of Oral and Facial Rehabilitation. Anthony Summerwill was appointed as a consultant at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2001 where his work focuses on the rehabilitation of adult cleft lip and palate patients and young adults with congenital hypodontia. He is part of the regional multi-disciplinary cleft lip and palate team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and is also an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in the Faculty of Dentistry at Birmingham University.
