Mr Bernard Potluri is a Consultant Urologist specialising in urological cancers, erectile dysfunction, haematuria assessment, no-scalpel vasectomy, and vasectomy reversal.
Mr Potluri's special interests include Paediatric urology (Children's problems – circumcision, hydrocele correction, undescended testis, urinary infections, bed-wetting etc ), diagnosis and management of urological cancers in particular the bladder; including trans-perineal ultrasound guided biopsies, management of overactive bladder- including Botox injections, management of erectile dysfunction, one stop haematuria (blood in urine) assessment, no-scalpel vasectomy (NSV), and microsurgical vasectomy reversal.

Mr Potluri qualified with a MB BS in 1977. He then obtained a masters in General Surgery in 1981 and was elected Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in 1989. Mr Potluri gained a diploma in urology from the Institute of Urology and University College, London in 1991.
He was first appointed to consultant post in 1996 and moved to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow in 1997. He retired from his post after serving rural communities in Jamaica and NHS in UK for nearly 3 decades.
He enjoys teaching junior doctors, nurses, and general practitioners. Many of his trainees have been appointed to consultant posts in UK and abroad.
Mr Potluri received awards for clinical excellence 4 times since 2001.
