Mr Nair treats all aspects of adult urology including: BPH LUTS - male and female, Andrology, General urology, Prostate diagnostics, All urological malignancies, Stones, Stone surgery. Stone surgery is my basic sub speciality interest. Mr Nair has expertise in managing all complex stones ans is currently involved in all aspects of management and follow up of urinary tract stones. PCNL tracts are done by interventional radiology. Prostate diagnostics - Mr Nair has developed special interest in prostate diagnostics and has done large numbers of TRUS and biopsy of prostate before. Mr Nair has moved and trained to do Artemis guided fusion biopsies of prostate and is adept at visual and cognitive targeting for prostate biopsies as well. Mr Nair is in the process of learning and moving to do LA transperineal prostate biopsies. Erectile dysfunction - Expertise in management of erectile dysfunction. Mr Nair has had extensive experience in management of erectile dysfunction in men and have been doing penile straightening surgery (Nesbitt's corporoplasty) for Peyronie's disease. Female Urology - Mr Nair has provided female urology services at University hospital of Ayr and was involved in all aspects of management including urethral diverticulum, urethral mucosal prolapse, urethral caruncle, Skene's & Bartholin cyst surgery and fistula repair. He has regularly performed continence procedures, with newer bulking agents (Bulkamid). Mr Nair has extensive experience with intravesical injections and has helped in management of complex female urology cases in Royal Stoke University Hospital. Male LUTS - Mr Nair has a special interest in male LUTS management both medical and surgical. He has had extensive experience with the same and is one of the consultants in UHNM with expertise in managing large prostates surgically. General Urology - Mr Nair has extensive experience in management of all aspects of peno-scrotal surgery and all general urological procedures.

Mr Nair completed his basic medical degree from Kerala University, India in 1989 and went on to complete MS in General surgery in 1993 from the same University. He has also completed his fellowship (FRCS) in general surgery and Urology. In between he has completed Diploma in Urology from University of London.
