Academic Background
Mr C P Lim is a consultant gynaecologist at the East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. He was one of a handful of gynaecologists in the country who completed the Advanced Laparoscopy Training certified by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) and he leads the specialist endometriosis service at Lister Hospital. He has published widely in the field of minimal access surgery and remains an active member of the training subcommittee for the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy. He regularly trains general gynaecologists at surgical courses nationally as faculty member. In addition to general gynaecology, Mr Lim subspecialises in Endometriosis and Benign Gynaecology. He believes that just because women have the condition, it doesn't mean they have to suffer with it. This also means he is an expert in hormone medication use including contraceptives and HRT. He offers a tailored approach to the treatment of his patients depending on their circumstances.
