Mr David Mathews is a consultant urologist with a specialist interest in laparoscopic surgery for kidney cancer and minimally invasive surgery for benign prostatic enlargement. He was the first urologist in the West Midlands to perform Rezum water vapour ablation of the prostate and continues to explore novel therapies for common urological conditions.

As well as minimally invasive surgery for benign prostatic hypertrophy, Mr Mathews provides endoscopic treatment of kidney stones, hydrocele repair, circumcision and botox injections to the bladder.

He offers diagnostic tests for poor urinary flow, blood in the urine, prostate cancer, recurrent urinary tract infection, bladder pain and overactive bladder. He also manages chronic conditions such as erectile dysfunction and prostatitis.
