Mr McRae was the Senior Registrar at The Royal Liverpool Hospital and Alder Hey Childrens Hospital from 1992 to 1995. He was a lecturer in head and neck surgery at Royal Liverpool Hospital in 1994, and was awarded an otology fellowship in Chennai, India from February to June 1995.
