Mr Fayad completed his general medical training in Belgium and France before completing extensive specialist further training in Oto-Rhino-Laryngology in Europe and in the United States. He has been a consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon since 1996. In addition to his private practice, Mr Fayad is the Lead Rhinologist and Chairman of the ENT department at Basildon and Thurrock NHS University Hospitals. Mr Fayad is responsible for the allergy clinic at Basildon Hospital where they led the way in establishing a multidisciplinary unit for dealing with patients suffering from combinations of nasal polyps, allergies and asthma. The unit is the first one to offer cures to conditions rather than simply treating them. Mr Fayad is a recognised leader in the development of ground breaking surgical techniques including nasal titanium implants which aid breathing and incisionless ear pinning. Mr Fayad has ongoing involvement in many research and audit projects.
