Academic Background

Mr George Tselentakis came to the UK after qualifying in Greece. He underwent basic surgical training in London SW Thames and after passing his FRCS in 1994 he undertook a year of research at Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital, Oswestry with Professor J.B Richardson. His research was awarded with a PhD. Mr Tselentakis received his higher orthopaedic training in Manchester; he completed his training by undertaking a knee fellowship in 2001 at the Royal Bolton Hospital and also visited a number of internationally renowned knee centres.

He was appointed as a knee surgeon at East Surrey Hospital in 2002 and since then he has concentrated on his clinical and research interests in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee.
