I have been a full time NHS Consultant Surgeon for more than 10 years and work in the Scottish Borders. After retiring as a professional rugby player, I have been fortunate to have had excellent specialist training in Foot and Ankle surgery including a Fellowship in Baltimore, USA learning from Dr Mark Myerson, one of the founding fathers of many of the modern techniques. I am a member of the British Foot and Ankle Society and have a number of research interests.
